Nissan Magnite, the subcompact SUV from the Japanese automaker, is set to receive an update this year. The carmaker has confirmed that the updated Magnite will go on sale on 4th October, with the official price announcement. To build excitement among buyers, the company has released a teaser video highlighting some of its design changes. The new 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift will feature a slightly revised front grille, headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs, and a new bumper. Minor changes are expected inside the cabin, such as new fabric upholstery and updated color trims, while the rest of the interior layout and features will remain largely unchanged. No mechanical changes are expected either, as the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift will continue to offer the same 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engines. The 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes will also be carried forward from the pre-facelift version.

The pre-facelift Magnite already comes packed with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with trip and eco-driving information, voice recognition control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and go, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, Nissan Connect, an air purifier, ambient mood lighting, JBL speakers, a rearview camera with parking guidelines, a wireless phone charger, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree camera.
Considering the given updates, the new Magnite is expected to see a price hike of up to Rs 30,000 – Rs 50,000. Currently, it is available within the price range of Rs 6 lakh – Rs 10.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
