The Mahindra XUV.e8 concept-based electric SUV is set to be the next big product launch from the indigenous automaker in India. The model has entered its final stages of development, and we have seen it numerous times during test rounds, often covered in heavy or semi-camouflage. It is essentially the electric iteration of the XUV700 SUV, which is slated to launch in December 2024.

Interestingly, the XUV.e8 will be the first Mahindra EV to be based on the brand’s born-electric INGLO platform, which supports AWD and RWD setups for SUVs measuring between 4,368mm and 4,735mm. According to the carmaker, the INGLO architecture features a standardized battery pack design utilizing cell-to-pack technology.
