Bangladeshi actress Riya Arvind Barde aka Arohi Barde was recently arrested from Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, on charges of illegally using fake documents in India. According to some parallel reports, Barde is associated with Raj Kundra Productions and has worked on some of their projects. However, the entrepreneur has now ruled out speculations. Raj Kundra said he was “deeply concerned” about possible false allegations circulating on his behalf. He added “These reports say that the alleged illegal immigrant worked for me or was associated with my alleged production company. Let me be clear: I have never met this person and I do not own or participate in any production company that this person worked for”.
Raj noted that such messages not only tarnish his reputation, but also try to use his name for “hype and media attention”. Kundra believes that the company maintains the utmost integrity in its business operations and does not tolerate such false claims. The investigation into Riya Arvind Barde’s identity began a year ago when authorities discovered that her birth certificate, high school diploma and passport contained three different places of birth. The actress was also reportedly arrested earlier by the Mumbai police in connection with a prostitution case under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
