The Nissan Magnite subcompact SUV is all set to receive a mid-life update on 4th October in the country. Bookings for the facelifted model have already commenced online and across all Nissan dealerships. However, deliveries will begin on 5th October 2024. With just a few days left before its price announcement, we now have the first official image of its updated interior.
The new 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift features a new interior theme and seat upholstery in a tan finish, while most of its layout and features remain unchanged. The higher trims of the new Magnite will continue to offer a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, ‘Nissan Connect’ connected car technology, ambient mood lighting, a wireless charger, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with trip and eco-driving information, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, rear seat armrest cupholders, a height-adjustable driver seat, high-end JBL speakers, an air purifier, a tire pressure monitoring system, a rearview camera with parking guidelines, Isofix child seat anchors, and more.
Minimal changes will be made to its exterior as well. The new 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift will come with a slightly revised front grille, tweaked headlamps, updated LED DRLs, and a revised bumper. The new Nissan Magnite will continue to be powered by the same 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Both engines will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a CVT automatic transmission will remain reserved for the turbo-petrol variants.
The variant lineup for the new Magnite is likely to remain the same, including XE, XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium (O) trims, along with the optional Technology Pack. Considering the upgrades, a minimal price hike is expected. The existing version is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
