TVS Radeon, the 110cc commuter from the indigenous two-wheeler maker, has been introduced in a new all-black colour scheme. The new shade is being limited to the entry-level variant and priced at Rs 59,880 (ex-showroom). With the launch of the new black Radeon, the bike’s base variant gets affordable by Rs 2,525. The model has metal black paint on the headlight cover, grab rail, rear shocks, bend pipe and exhaust along with the with red and white graphics on side panels. It has black single-piece seat.
The new Black paint scheme join the existing colour palette that includes Titanium Grey, Metal Black, Starlight Blue, Royal Purple, dual-tone Blue Black and, dual-tone Red Black. Similar to the other colour base variant, the new black model comes with a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster showing details such as fuel gauge, odometer, speedometer, eco/power indicator, etc.
For power, the TVS Radeon uses a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with a 4-speed gearbox. The motor pushes out a maximum power of 8.08PS at 7,350rm and 8.7Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The bike underpins the single-cradle tubular frame, and comes equipped with the 18-inch alloys shod with 70mm front and 76.2mm rear tubeless tyres.
Suspension setup of the Radeon consists of the conventional telescopic fork at the front and 5-step preload adjustable twin shocks at the rear. The commuter derives its stopping power from the 130mm front and 110mm rear drums brakes. The Digi Disc variant comes with the 240mm front disc brake. The Radeon also gets the CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard.
