The Mahindra Thar Roxx created a buzz among buyers even before its official unveiling on 15th August 2024. With prices now revealed and bookings underway, the big news is that the off-road SUV received 1.76 lakh pre-orders within 60 minutes of its booking window opening today at 11:00 am. This marks the highest-ever bookings received by any car on its first day of booking. The carmaker has confirmed that deliveries of the Thar Roxx will start on Dussehra – 12th October 2024 – and will be carried out in phases over the next three weeks.
Prices for the Mahindra Thar Roxx 4X2 variant start at Rs 12.99 lakh and go up to Rs 20.49 lakh. The 4X2 models are available with both petrol and diesel engines, as well as manual and automatic gearbox options. The MX1 and MX5 petrol manual variants are priced at Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 16.49 lakh, respectively. There are three petrol 4X2 automatic variants – MX3, MX5, and AX7L – priced at Rs 14.99 lakh, Rs 17.99 lakh, and Rs 19.99 lakh, respectively.
The Thar Roxx diesel manual and automatic 4X2 trims are offered within a price range of Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh. The off-road SUV’s 4X4 variants – MX5 MT, AX5L AT, AX7L MT, and AX7L AT – are priced at Rs 18.79 lakh, Rs 20.99 lakh, Rs 20.99 lakh, and Rs 22.49 lakh, respectively. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
With the Thar Roxx 4X4you get four exclusive features: an electric locking differential, Intelliturn function, crawl smart function, and 4Xplor with terrain modes for Sand, Snow, and Mud. Additional features such as 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, 6 speakers and two tweeters, a blind-spot monitor, a front-view camera, a surround-view camera, an obstacle-view function, and a panoramic sunroof are reserved for the top-end AX7L trim.
