Launched in 2017, the Jeep Compass SUV has completed eight successful years in the country. To commemorate the occasion, the American automaker has introduced a special Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition with some cosmetic enhancements and accessories. Bookings for the new limited edition have commenced across all Jeep dealerships and online. Prices and variant details of the Compass Anniversary Edition will be revealed soon.

On the exterior, the special edition features a velvet red insert in the front grille and a dual-tone hood decal. Inside, it comes with velvet red seat covers, white ambient lighting, and an integrated dashcam.

The regular Compass is packed with features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Uconnect-5, a wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, a 360-degree parking camera, 9 speakers, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, the Jeep Selec-Terrain 4X4 system, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and more.

The SUV’s standard safety kit includes dual front airbags, hill start assist, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, electric roll mitigation, an electronic parking brake, Isofix child seat mounts, and rear parking sensors and camera. The higher trims come exclusively with hill descent control, 6 airbags, and a rear parking camera.

The engine setup of the Jeep Compass consists of a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel motor, producing a maximum power of 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The SUV’s model lineup comes with FWD (front-wheel drive) as standard, while the optional 4WD setup is available only with the top-end Model S (O) trim.

Prices for the regular Jeep Compass start from Rs 18.99 lakh and go up to Rs 32.41 lakh (ex-showroom).
