Following Telangana Minister Konda Surekha’s remarks attributing the divorce of actors Samantha and Naga Chaitanya on previous IT Minister KTR, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya’s father, and Samantha publicly denounced the minister’s false and reckless assertions.
Nagarjuna asserted that the minister not only disseminated falsehoods but also transgressed her standards of decency.
Samantha, in an extensive letter, asserted that her divorce “is a personal matter” and that no political conspiracy was involved.
“Konda Surekha garu, I am proud of what this journey turned into. Please don’t trivialise it. I hope you realised that your words carry significant weight as a minister. I implore you to be a responsible and respectful of individuals’ privacy,” she wrote.
She added, “My divorce is a personal matter, and I request you that you refrain from speculating about it. Our choice to keep things private doesn’t invite misrepresentations.”
She concluded her letter by requesting Konda Surekha to refrain from engaging in political battles.
