While everyone expected Samsung to offer a sneak peek at One UI 7.0 during the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2024, it didn’t, at least on the stage. However, it announced that One UI 7.0 will bring a significant UI redesign. It also mentioned Good Lock, which could be released in more countries worldwide.
Good Lock could be released in all the countries worldwide
During its SDC 2024 keynote event, Samsung revealed that One UI 7.0 will bring a new UI design with One UI 7.0, based on three principles: Simple, Impactful, and Emotive. It also mentioned Good Lock on the stage for the first time and said it offers “ultimate freedom of personalization.” Hence, we think Samsung might be thinking about making Good Lock available in all the countries worldwide.
Good Lock is a suite of multiple first-party apps from Samsung that offers deep customizations to the user interface. You can customize almost everything, from the lock screen to the keyboard and the Settings app. Right now, Good Lock is only available in a few countries. Galaxy smartphone and tablet users living in countries where it isn’t officially available use the APK sideloading method to use Good Lock.

Over the past few years, Samsung has been expanding the reach of Good Lock and its modules to more countries. Starting next year, though, the South Korean firm may release Good Lock to all countries worldwide. At least, that is what we think since Samsung mentioned Good Lock prominently on the stage at its developer event.
