The new 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift has finally gone on sale in India. The updated model lineup comes in six trims – Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+ – priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It is important to note that all the aforementioned prices are introductory, ex-showroom that will be applicable to the first 10,000 deliveries only.
Compared to its predecessor, which was offered in the price range of Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.27 lakh, the new Magnite has witnessed marginally price hike.
On the exterior, the new Magnite facelift features a redesigned, wider and larger front grille with lots of chrome and gloss black elements, flanked by revised LED headlamps with new LED DRLs. The front bumper has a more pronounced faux skid plate. The side profile remains largely unchanged, except for the new 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile has been updated with new LED taillamp clusters and a slightly tweaked bumper.
No changes have been made to its dimensions. The 2024 Nissan Magnite continues to measure 3,994mm in length, 1,758mm in width, and 1,572mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,500mm. The subcompact SUV maintains a ground clearance of 205mm.
The updated model lineup introduces a new Sunrise Copper Orange paint scheme, joining the existing color palette that includes Tourmaline Brown with Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Vivid Blue with Onyx Black, Sandstone Brown, Pearl White with Onyx Black, Onyx Black, Flare Garnet Red, Flare Garnet Red with Onyx Black, and Storm White.
Minimal changes have been made inside the cabin as well. The new 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift features a new dual-tone Black and Orange theme with contrasting silver inserts. The updated seat upholstery and steering wheel give the interior a fresh appeal. The 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster has revised graphics. Other features have been carried forward from the pre-facelift version, including a wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a JBL sound system, automatic climate control, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera. The standard safety kit of the new Magnite includes 6 airbags, three point seatbelts and seatbelt reminders for all seats and electronic stability control.
Similar to the previous version, the new Nissan Magnite is powered by the same 1.0L naturally aspirated (NA) and 1.0L turbo-petrol engines. The NA engine, available with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox, delivers a maximum power of 72PS and 96Nm of torque. The turbo-petrol engine, available with a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic transmissions, produces 100PS of power and 160Nm of torque. Mileage of the subcompact SUV stands at 20kmpl (manual) and 17.4kmpl (CVT).
