Volkswagen India has rolled out the new Highline Plus variants of the Virtus midsize sedan and the Taigun midsize SUV. These new variants are offered exclusively with a 1.0L TSI petrol engine. The Volkswagen Virtus Highline Plus manual and automatic variants are priced at Rs 13.88 lakh and Rs 14.98 lakh, respectively. The Volkswagen Taigun Highline Plus manual costs Rs 14.27 lakh, while the automatic version is available at Rs 15.37 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
Additionally, Volkswagen has introduced the Virtus GT Line (available with the 1.0L petrol engine only) and GT Plus Sport (offered with the 1.5L engine only) variants.

The new Volkswagen Taigun Highline Plus and Virtus Highline Plus trims come packed with features such as an auto-dimming IRVM, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof, push-button start/stop, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, lead-me-to-vehicle functionality for the lights, and follow-me-home lights. Features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic climate control, a rear-view camera, and a wireless phone charger are also on offer.

Volkswagen has also updated the Taigun GT Line variants with additional features, including an 8-inch digital driver’s display, push-button start/stop, a single-pane sunroof, aluminum pedals, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers. The Taigun GT Line is available with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine and both manual and automatic gearbox options.
Currently, the Volkswagen Virtus lineup is priced between Rs 11.56 lakh and Rs 19.41 lakh, while prices for the Volkswagen Taigun start at Rs 11.70 lakh for the base variant and go up to Rs 20 lakh for the fully-loaded top trim.
