New Volkswagen Virtus GT Line, GT Plus Sport

Volkswagen has expanded the Virtus midsize sedan lineup with two new variants – GT Line and GT Plus Sport. While the former is available with the 1.0L TSI petrol engine, the latter comes with the 1.5L TSI petrol motor. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are on offer. The Volkswagen Virtus GT Line 1.0L manual and automatic variants are priced at Rs 14.08 lakh and Rs 15.18 lakh, respectively. The Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport 1.5L is priced at Rs 17.85 lakh (manual) and Rs 19.40 lakh (DCT automatic). All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.

Volkswagen Virtus GT Line

The Virtus GT Line variant features a blacked-out front grille, black front and rear bumpers, black alloy wheels, and black wing mirrors. The door handles have a dark chrome finish. Distinguishing it further from its regular counterparts are the new GT Line badges on the fenders and boot lid, black ‘Virtus’ badging, and a gloss black spoiler on the boot lid.

The black theme continues inside the cabin. The VW Virtus GT Line comes with all-black seat upholstery featuring grey stitching, along with features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, red ambient lighting, front fog lamps, an electric sunroof, aluminum pedals, hill hold control, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and 6 airbags.

The new VW Virtus GT Plus Sport also features a blacked-out treatment similar to the GT Line variant. Additionally, it comes with red ‘GT’ badges, a dual-tone roof, red brake calipers, and an aero kit for bumpers, door cladding, and diffusers. The interior has an all-black theme with glossy black inserts on the dashboard and steering wheel, black-finished grab handles, aluminum pedals, black door handles, and black sun visors. The black leatherette upholstery with contrasting red stitching further enhances its sporty appeal.
