Top director Trivikram, Samantha and Rana Daggubati are the special guests for the Telugu pre-release event of Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Jigra. During his speech, Trivikram had a satire for Samantha saying that the actress should come to Hyderabad at least once in a while. Samantha replied asking Trivikram if he is ready to write for her. “We are in fear that you may not accept our roles” posted Trivikram. “Samantha garu…Hyderabad raavataniki daaredi” questioned Trivikram and the actress responded with a smile. Telugu audience and fans should trend on Twitter with the hashtag” told Trivikram. The top director also wished the team of Jigra a big success.
During her speech, Samantha called Rana Daggubati her brother. “Rana is like a brother to me. Rana backed a women-centric film last month and he is now releasing Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. Rana is like a brother for every girl” told Samantha and she heaped praise on Alia Bhatt. Vasan Bala is the director and Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina are the lead actors. The film is hitting the screens on October 11th.
