Nani and director Srikanth Odela teamed up for the second time. Their first collaboration was for “Dasara,” which was a big hit. Nani and Odela want to make this new film bigger.
Aiming for a pan-Indian success, the team initially considered Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, but later backed out. The latest speculation is that they are considering approaching Bollywood’s top actress, Shraddha Kapoor.
Shraddha Kapoor earlier played opposite Prabhas in “Salaar,” and it was her first and only Telugu film (so far). If she agrees to Nani and his team’s proposal, it will be a casting coup, and the film will gain a lot of publicity.
Shraddha Kapoor recently delivered massive success in Bollywood with “Stree 2,” which collected nearly Rs 600 crore in India. Shraddha Kapoor is also the number one celebrity in India in terms of Instagram popularity.
