At present, the Maruti Swift is available within the price range of Rs 6.49 lakh – Rs 9.59 lakh. Powering the hatchback is a 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z12E petrol engine, which produces 82bhp and 112Nm. Compared to the old Swift, the new-gen model is slightly less powerful and torquier. The new engine is claimed to produce up to 12 percent fewer carbon emissions. It’s one of the most fuel-efficient cars in the country, delivering 24.8kmpl – 25.75kmpl.

The Swift CNG uses the 1.2L petrol engine with a CNG kit, promising a mileage of 32.85km/kg. While the CNG version is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission, the petrol version can be had with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

With the generation change, the Maruti Swift receives several new features such as a larger 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, an updated analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch digital MID, new HVAC switches, revised central air-con vents, new fabric upholstery, six airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, Isofix anchors, hill start assist, electronic stability control, and more.
