Pushpa 2: The Rule is the next big film in Indian cinema and the expectations on the film are humongous. The film directed by Sukumar is in the final stages of shoot and the film will release on December 5th. NTR’s Devara is the recent biggie in Tollywood. The word of mouth on day one was not promising. But Devara performed exceptionally well and all the parties involved made profits. This is a huge relief for the distributors and exhibitors. Even Kalki 2898 AD had a dream run despite mixed word of mouth. The distributors are now betting big on Pushpa 2: The Rule. There is huge demand for the distribution rights despite the producers quoting big amounts.
In some of the territories, 2-3 distributors are in the race. The makers will finalize the deals next month. There would be a reshuffle in the distributors because of the demand. One more big reason is Ram Charan’s Game Changer which is moved from Christmas to Sankranthi. Pushpa 2: The Rule will have a fair chance to perform well during the Christmas and New Year weekends. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of this big-budget attempt.
