The new 2024 Jeep Meridian facelift has been introduced in India. The SUV’s updated model lineup comes in four trims – Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland – which are further spread across eight variants. There are three manual variants – Longitude, Longitude Plus, and Limited (O) – priced at Rs 24.99 lakh, Rs 27.50 lakh, and Rs 30.49 lakh, respectively. Prices for the automatic variants start from Rs 28.49 lakh and go up to Rs 36.49 lakh. The new Meridian Overland 4X4 variant comes with a price tag of Rs 38.49 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
Bookings for the Meridian facelift are underway nationwide; however, its deliveries will start towards the end of this month. What has changed?
Minimal changes have been made to its design. The new Jeep Meridian carries a slightly updated front grille with chrome-studded honeycomb mesh and the signature seven-slot grille. It continues to feature 18-inch alloy wheels, trapezoidal wheel arches, and LED taillights with a matching horizontal bar.
The biggest update comes in the form of the Level 2 ADAS suite, which is reserved for the top-end Overland trim. The suite offers several advanced safety features, including lane departure warning, forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and more. Now, its connected car tech also comes with Alexa Home-to-Vehicle integration.
The interior looks refreshing with the new suede finish with copper stitching and new beige seat upholstery. In fact, the dashboard now has a copper finish underlining instead of the chrome strip. Other features have been carried forward from the pre-facelift Meridian, including a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, etc.

The new Jeep Meridian 5-seater offers a claimed boot space of 670 liters. The 7-seater version, on the other hand, has a luggage area of up to 824 liters with the middle row folded down. When all seat rows are in place, the cargo space is reduced to 170 liters.
Under the hood, the new 2024 Jeep Meridian features the same 2.0L diesel engine, producing 170bhp and 350Nm. Transmissions have also been retained – a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. The SUV continues to come with 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrain systems.
