HYDERABAD: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths unearthed properties worth over Rs 4 crores illegally amassed by M. Venkata Bhoopal Reddy, additional collector (Land Revenue), Rangareddy District.
The properties were discovered during raids conducted by the bureau at the residence of Bhoopal Reddy and four other places belonging to his close relatives.
Initially, the bureau registered a case of disproportionate assets against the accused officer after reports of him indulging in corrupt practices surfaced.
While the disproportionate assets amassed by him are worth over Rs 4.19 crores, the actual market value is far higher in the open market, said an official.
