ANU professor Dr Iyer nominated as adjunct professor at Melbourne IHM

GUNTUR: The Institute of Health & Management (IHM), Melbourne, Australia, has nominated Senior Professor of Acharya Nagarjuna University, Dr Saraswati Raju Iyer, as an Adjunct Professor and Advisory Board Member of the Social Work course.
Dr Iyer served as Head of the Sociology and Social Work Department at ANU in the past. IHM, in a communication, said that her appointment is expected to strengthen academic leadership within the Social Work programme.
ANU Vice-Chancellor Prof K Gangadhara Rao congratulated Prof Saraswati Raju Iyer for the academic accomplishment as an Adjunct Professor and Advisory Board Member of IHM. He said that it is an honour and a rare distinction not only for Dr Iyer but also for the University.
IHM is a globally renowned university that offers accredited postgraduate courses in health, management, research, and nursing for both domestic and international students through campuses in Rosanna, Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne, and also online. IHM is also registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
The Institute offers a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) course in a four-year programme. The aim of the IHM Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is to provide accessible, quality, professional social work education at a foundational level to produce graduates who can practice within 21st-century human services agencies and diverse communities and societies. “It is a privilege and honour to be on the Advisory Board of IHM and serve as Adjunct Professor,” said Dr Iyer.
