Hyderabad: Three persons, including two software professionals, were arrested by Jubilee Hills police for assaulting officers who were on patrol duty. The officers noticed the trio causing a nuisance on the road in an inebriated condition and asked them to leave the area and go home.
They became furious and assaulted the officers, said police. They have been identified as Ashok and Mohan, both software professionals, and Ashok’s brother Karthik who works for a private firm. All of them are in their late 30s.
During the early hours of Thursday when the officers were patrolling in Shalivahana Nagar under Jubilee Hills police limits, they noticed the trio causing a disturbance on road. When the officers asked them to leave, the accused attacked them. The trio were produced before a court and sent to judicial remand.tnn
