Vistara Airlines flight from Delhi to Hyderabad diverted
A Vistara Airlines flight from Delhi to Hyderabad was diverted to Jaipur on Friday morning, airline officials said.
In a post on X, the airlines wrote, “Flight UK829 from Delhi to Hyderabad (DEL-HYD) has been diverted to Jaipur (JAI) and is expected to arrive in Jaipur at 0830 hrs. Please stay tuned for further updates.”
The reason for the diversion was yet not known.
This came a day after Air India and Vistara customers on Thursday faced difficulties in connecting with the airlines’ contact centres due to technical issues with the telecom providers.
In a post on X, Air India said “The issue at the telecom provider’s end has been resolved and our contact centres are back to normal.” In the evening, both airlines issued customer advisories.
“One of the telecom providers for our contact centres is facing technical difficulties. Due to this, there may be challenges connecting with our contact centers. While the telecom provider resolves the issue at its end, may we request your understanding and patience,” Air India said.
Vistara, which is getting merged with Air India, also posted a similarly worded post on X.
In 11 days, more than 250 flights operated by Indian carriers were diverted after receiving bomb threats.
