ELURU: A couple accidentally drowned in a pond and died in Eluru district. Konda Rambabu and Prashanthi went to the pond in Pothireddypalli village of Nuzvid mandal in Eluru district to wash their cattle.
Trapped in a quagmire, Rambabu accidentally drowned in the pond. In order to rescue her husband, Prashanthi ventured into the water and she was also drowned.Nuzvid rural police are investigating the case.
