In the 2019 state Assembly elections, this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2014 polls, this constituency voted in Phase 2 on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 and the results were declared on Friday, May 16, 2014.

In 2014, Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) of TDP emerged victorious in this seat beating Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Alla Nani) of YSRCP by a margin of 24603 votes which was 16.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TDP secured a vote share of 55.68% in the seat.

In the 2009 state Assembly elections, Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas ( Alla Nani) of INC won this seat beating Badeti Kota Rama Rao (Bujji) of PRAP by a margin of 13682 votes which was 10.9% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.8% in the seat.

In the 2009 Assembly elections, Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas ( Alla Nani) of INC won this seat defeating Badeti Kota Rama Rao (Bujji) of PRAP by a margin of 13,682 votes which was 10.9% of the total votes polled for the seat.
