India’s Afghan shock in Muscat
Afghanistan A defeated India A by 20 runs in the second semi-final of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024. Despite a blistering 64 from Ramandeep Singh, India A could not chase down Afghanistan A’s total of 206/4. Earlier, a 137-run opening stand between Zubaid Akbari (64) and Sediqullah Atal (83) powered Afghanistan A to their highest score of the tournament. The match was held at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman.
