The story follows “two brothers, whose quiet weekend retreat unravels into a deadly game of cat and mouse with the arrival of a hauntingly enigmatic woman who causes them to question how well they really know each other, and themselves.”

Dangerous Games to Play in the Dark

Adapted for the screen by Evan Spiliotopoulos (The Pope’s Exorcist) the story book its based on is “a collection of spine-chilling games based on urban legends from around the world. While these games might seem like simple dares or tests of bravery, the book warns those who risk playing should remember: What they summon may not want the games to end…”

28 Years Later

During a recent interview with IndieWire, Ralph Fiennes revealed a few plot details from the first two films of the new 28 Years Later trilogy, which he confirmed have already wrapped filming.

Britain is 28 years into this terrible plague of infected people who are violent, rabid humans with a few pockets of uninfected communities. And it centers on a young boy who wants to find a doctor to help his dying mother. He leads his mother through this beautiful northern English terrain. But of course, around them hiding in forests and hills and woods are the infected. But he finds a doctor who is a man we might think is going to be weird and odd, but actually is a force for good.

Bond 26

Elsewhere, All Quiet on the Western Front director Edward Berger addressed rumors he’s in talks to direct Bond 26 in a new interview with Den of Geek.

Who isn’t [interested]you know? Bond, I grew up with it. He’s an idol. Those movies, I watched them diligently from back to front, of course I would be. But whether I would ever be in the discussion list, I have no idea. There really is no discussion, there is no future for me in it at the moment. Barbara Broccoli and Michael [G. Wilson] are sort of the keepers of that holy grail, and they will make the right decision for whatever they want to do, and I think that’s the main thing.

Queens of the Dead
