A total number of 6,11,996 pending criminal and civil cases were taken up in the 3rd National Lok Adalat and out of them, 6,05,805 cases were settled which comes to 98.99 per cent.

Hyderabad: The 3rd National Lok Adalat held under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NLSA) in September this year has been ranked first in the disposal of pending cases in the country.
A total number of 6,11,996 pending criminal and civil cases were taken up in the 3rd National Lok Adalat and out of them, 6,05,805 cases were settled which comes to 98.99 per cent. Out of which, 3,204 civil cases and 6, 02,601 criminal cases pending were settled.
The total disposal in the 3rd National Lok Adalat, 2024 is 12, 39,044 with percentage of 98.88. The pending cases across all the categories like motor accident compensation cases, civil suits, cheque bounce cases, matrimonial disputes were taken up for settlement.
