A huge period thriller movie ‘Ka’ starring young talented hero Kiran Abbavaram. Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram are playing heroines in this movie. Produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner Srichakras Entertainments presented by Smt. Chinta Varalakshmi. The director duo Sujeeth and Sandeep are making the movie “Ka” with the story of a village backdrop action thriller. The film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release in Telugu on the occasion of Diwali on 31st of this month. On this occasion, producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy interacted with the media.
– Thanks to all of you who are supporting our “Ka” movie. Ours is Rajahmundry. I come from a farming family. I like to listen to songs since childhood. That’s how he got interested in movies from his childhood. Even after becoming a businessman professionally, the interest in movies remained the same. I have produced a movie called “Now and then and never” during the lock down time. After that movie, I acted as a co-producer for the movie ‘Yashoda’ starring Samantha. Even though I got a little recognition in the industry with that movie. I came with the intention of doing good to ten people and with the desire to provide employment, so I think that I will not suffer as a producer. I am doing films in between doing my businesses.
– I have a good opinion of hero Kiran Abbavaram. This project came to me through him. When I heard the story of the movie “Ka”, I felt that the content was very new. It has suspense and sentiment. At the end, words have been written to give a lot of meaning with small dialogues. Two directors Sujeeth and Sandeep narrated the script well. It is believed that if they say they can do well. When this project came to me, they were training a puppy named Ramu in the film. Directors are so prepared. Now before the release of the movie, our cast and crew are getting good offers. I am happy that they are getting opportunities.
– Hero Kiran Abbavaram is a hero with a hard work ethic. Very good. He worked very hard for the movie “Ka”. If he started shooting in the afternoon in the month of May, he would do double call sheet work till morning again. Even though he was shooting till 12 in the night, Malli used to come to the set at 5 in the morning. Even our directors do not compromise until they get what they want. Tried to make every shot rich. Until a week or so ago, small shots were shot and added. All the team that worked for this movie are those who have worked with Kiran in the past. So they all worked together like a team work.
– The story of the movie “Ka” is better than what our directors told it. I was impressed with the output. The way they turned the story gave me confidence that they can do anything. After the release of the teaser trailer of our movie, it became a trend. As a producer, I am happy that so many people are talking about our movie today. As soon as the teaser was released, there were calls for business. Kiran suggested Vamsi Nandipati. He offered to release AP and Telangana. Good theaters are available. There are many good theaters in Hyderabad. It is releasing in more than 350 theaters.
– No worries about pan India release. After Kantara was a hit in Kannada, it came to Telugu and became a blockbuster. If a movie gets good talk in Telugu, it will create a craze in other languages. Our entire team believes in the content of the film. At first we thought the title of the movie would be Ichhotane. We started the movie as well. When I heard the title, I thought it was good. Our directors have given a justification why the title of the film is Ka.
– For producer Shivalenka Krishnaprasad, like me, cinema is a passion. Now I am also co-producing a movie called Sarangapani Jatakam with him after Yashoda. Gopi said let us travel. I have heard four stories so far. A new project from our company will be finalized in January. The film industry has a difficulty like no other field. Also, there is recognition and fame in the film industry which is not in any field. My aim as a producer is to get the name that Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy’s film will be a good film.
