The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been leaked ahead of its official launch on 11th November 2024. The compact sedan, which was spotted at a dealership yard, looks completely different from its current generation. In fact, its design changes are unlike the Swift hatchback. The all-new 2024 Maruti Dzire features a new grille and sharply designed rectangular LED headlamps, which are connected via a glossy black trim. A chrome strip runs just below the headlamp clusters, and the fog lamp assembly has also been revised.

Major cosmetic changes have also been made to its rear profile. The new Maruti Dzire features taillamps with Y-shaped LED elements and a chrome bar running across both clusters. The revised rear bumper with contouring elements and boot lid add more to its refreshing look. The diamond-cut alloy wheels may be reserved for higher trims.

Similar to the exterior, the interior will witness comprehensive changes inspired by the new Swift. The new 2024 Maruti Dzire will have a 9-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch digital MID, automatic climate control, and lighter-shade upholstery and dashboard. The spy images confirm that the compact sedan will come with a first-in-segment electric sunroof. Read: 5 Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars Below Rs 10 Lakh

Under the hood, the new Maruti Dzire will employ a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine instead of the old 1.2L, 4-cylinder K-Series motor. The new motor, which also powers the Swift hatch, delivers a claimed output of 82bhp and 112Nm of torque. The 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes will be carried forward from the current generation.

With significantly improved styling, an upmarket, feature-packed interior, and a more efficient engine, the new 2024 Maruti Dzire will likely be priced at a premium compared to the current generation. It will continue to compete with the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze. Its archrival, the Honda Amaze, is also set for a generation change early next year.
