Hyderabad: The BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy on Wednesday reiterated the preparedness of all his party MLAs and MPs to undergo a drug test and called on Congress to state a place and time where that party’s elected representatives would come to undergo the test.
Speaking with reporters, Kaushik Reddy said some Congress youth leaders went to a hospital by themselves saying they were ready to undergo testing. “Firstly, they did not inform us about their plan to go to a hospital and wait there. Two, the question is whether all the Congress MLAs, MLCs and MPs are ready to get tested. There is no word on this. We from the BRS are ready and let them choose a time and place and all of us will get tested. That will set the drugs issue at rest once and for all,” he said.
“Once this is over then we will ask them questions about why the Congress government has failed to keep its promises to people including implementing the 6 Guarantees,” he said.
