Hyderabad: Cyberabad police conducted searches at the residence of Vijay Madduri, a friend of BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s brother-in-law Pakala Rajendra Prasad, in connection with the drugs case related to a party at a farmhouse owned by KTR. Madduri, who was also at the party, tested positive for cocaine.
The searches at his Jubilee Hills residence began in the afternoon and continued until late at night. The police focused on his mobile phone and any other incriminating material. A dog squad, specialised in detecting narcotics, and Clues Teams also accompanied the police during the searches.
“The searches were conducted as part of the ongoing investigation. He was not available, but we will summon him for a thorough investigation,” said G Ramana Goud, assistant commissioner of police, Narsingi Division, Cyberabad.
