Hyderabad: Medak MP M Raghunandan Rao on Wednesday said the Congress govt was misappropriating central funds designated for the state.
Addressing a press conference, the BJP MP claimed that Rs 1,000 crore intended for rural development had been misused, with bills meant for submission to the central govt still remaining outstanding.
He said that development initiatives in villages had come to a standstill due to insufficient funding as state share was not forthcoming.
He accused CM Revanth Reddy of attempting to sell Musi river in the name of beautification. He also expressed fears over efforts to misappropriate funds under the pretext of beautification of the Musi.
