ELURU: Three people died while two others sustained severe injuries after the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary lorry in Andhra Pradesh‘s Eluru district.
The accident occurred on the national highway near Lakshmi Nagar in Dwaraka Tirumala mandal.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at Ashram hospital. Bhagyasri, a resident of Razole, had traveled to Hyderabad with her two children and mother in a car on July 6 to attend a software company interview, police said.
During their return journey, their vehicle collided with a stationary lorry at Lakshmi Nagar.
“Bhagyasri, her mother Kamala Devi and her elder son Naga Nitin Kumar died on the spot. Car driver Durga Vamsi and Bhagyasri’s younger son Naga Shanmukh were seriously injured,” police said.
