The festive season witnessed multiple new product launches and the arrival of special/limited editions. The month of November is also set to be action-packed for the Indian automobile industry, with three major product unveilings and launches. Maruti Suzuki is all set to reveal the production-ready version of the eVX in Milan, Italy, on 4th November, followed by the market launch of the new-generation Maruti Dzire. Skoda Auto’s first subcompact SUV – Kylaq – will also make its official debut on 6th November 2024.
Starting with the Maruti eVXthe electric SUV is expected to arrive in India in the first quarter of 2025. The model is likely to feature a 60kWh battery pack, promising a range of up to 500km. It will be based on an all-new platform derived from Toyota’s 40PL electric skateboard architecture. The new Maruti electric SUV will be nearly 4.3 meters in length and will come with features such as an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, a dual-screen setup, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and many more amenities.
The new-generation Maruti Dzire is set to hit showrooms on 11th November 2024. The compact sedan will receive comprehensive changes inside and out, along with a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The new Dzire will be the first vehicle in its category to offer an electric sunroof. Most of its new features will be borrowed from the Swift; however, its exterior styling will be completely different from its hatchback sibling.
The production-ready Skoda Kylaq subcompact SUV will be officially revealed on 6th November, with its launch scheduled for early next year. The model will feature Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language and share some design elements with the Kushaq. Under the hood, the new Skoda compact SUV will feature a 1.0L TSI turbo petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.
