Halloween weekend day trip
Ireland had a long weekend with 28th October being a day off. We decided to do a day trip to a near by waterfalls called ‘Powerscourt Waterfalls’ its tipped to be the highest waterfalls in Ireland. And with autumn setting in it was a nice time to visit. It’s a nice place to spend time with nature and includes a designated BBQ area and a nature trail walk. It’s situated in the county of Wicklow and was a 30-minute drive from home. Vikings Valhalla was shot here briefly and post that it has become a tourist magnet.
We picked the Sunday for the trip as it meant most of the crowd are either resting at home or outside the city on their weekend trip. Autumn colors were in full effect and weather was kind for the first half of the day which helped as well.
