As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Hyderabad Zonal Office, organized a walkathon on Sunday in which nearly 450 employees and agents from all offices of Hyderabad and Secunderabad participated.

Hyderabad: As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Hyderabad Zonal Office, organized a walkathon on Sunday in which nearly 450 employees and agents from all offices of Hyderabad and Secunderabad participated.
The Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) of LIC comprised of a series of events including taking Integrity Pledge, online quiz, online essay writing competitions and culminating with the walkathon on Sunday.
Puneet Kumar, Zonal Manager flagged off the walk which passed through Telugu Talli flyover, Mint compound, Saifabad police station, Prasad’s Imax, Lumbini Park and culminated at LIC Zonal Office. All along the route placards displaying messages educating on vigilance awareness were displayed.
R Sateesh Babu, Regional Manager, K Sunandan, Zonal Vigilance Officer, M Ravi Kumar, Uthup Joseph, G. Madhusudhan, Pramoda Kumar Sahoo and other senior officials participated in the walkathon. Police teams gave support in regulating traffic and helped in smooth conduct of the event.
