Lucknow: The city reported a decline in dengue cases, with only 9 new infections diagnosed on Monday. This brings the total number of cases in the city to 2,120 since Jan. Maximum 5 cases were reported from Chandarnagar community health centre followed by Aishbagh with 2 cases and one each from Redcross and Aliganj.
In a measure to combat vector-borne diseases, officials conducted a survey of approximately 1,473 homes and surrounding areas, identifying mosquito breeding conditions in 6 homes, leading to notices being issued. Chief medical officer Dr NB Singh said: “People should use mosquito repellent measures to protect themselves from dengue and other vector-borne infections.”
