New panel told to chalk out solutions for disputes in JVs

Hyderabad: The state govt on Monday announced the formation of a high-level committee comprising four senior bureaucrats to address legal disputes with private individuals involved in joint ventures.
During a cabinet subcommittee meeting on resource mobilization, deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka instructed setting up of this committee, which will be headed by special chief secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and include secretaries from the municipal, housing and law departments. The committee has been given one week’s time to come up with solutions.
Additionally, the meeting addressed requests from industrial operators dealing with pollution concerns, who sought permission to relocate outside the outer ring road. The subcommittee members urged officials from the industry department to evaluate these requests and facilitate the establishment of industries beyond ORR, thereby promoting zero- pollution environment in Hyderabad.
Further more, directives were issued to industry department officials to create industrial parks on five-acre plots in each assembly constituency to support small and medium enterprises. This initiative is designed to generate substantial employment opportunities and financial assistance for youth in rural regions.
The subcommittee also examined the public auction process for plots managed by the municipal urban development department. Housing department officials were tasked with auctioning certain plots initially to enhance govt revenue. The status of pending plots under the Rajiv Swagruha scheme was also reviewed. Bhatti emphasised the importance of documenting discussions from the subcommittee meeting as minutes and requested that officials come prepared with an action report next meeting.
