The official bookings for the upcoming new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire have commenced nationwide. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000 at any MSIL Arena dealership or online. Deliveries of the new Maruti Dzire will begin immediately after its price announcement on 11th November 2024. The carmaker has also released the first teaser, revealing its completely revised front fascia.
The compact sedan features a new hexagonal grille with black horizontal slats, a slim chrome lining, and Maruti Suzuki’s signature logo in the center. The unit appears wider than before. The sharply designed LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and the updated bumper enhance its new look. The 2024 Maruti Dzire will also feature a new fog lamp assembly, newly-designed alloy wheels, a revised rear bumper, and new LED taillamps connected by a horizontal chrome bar.
Recently, we obtained details about its interior. One of its major highlights will be the segment-first electric sunroof. The new Maruti Dzire will include a floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an updated semi-digital instrument cluster with a larger MID, revised AC vents, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and a dashboard in three colors with faux wooden accents. Along with all the aforementioned exterior and interior upgrades, the new Maruti Dzire will receive a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering a maximum power of 82bhp and 112Nm of torque. This new petrol engine will replace the existing 1.2L, 4-cylinder K-Series engine. Compared to the current generation, the new Dzire will be more fuel-efficient.
