WARANGAL: A fire broke out at a gunny godown in Warangal, Telangana, on Tuesday morning. The fire department was alerted about the incident at 4.29 am.
Initially, one fire vehicle was sent to the location. However, after evaluating the severity of the blaze, three more vehicles were called in to douse the fire.
“It took us three hours to douse the flames,” stated a fire officer.
The fire spread to two adjacent establishments, an old furniture shop and the gunny godown.
“The fire is now totally under control, and we suspect that an electrical short circuit was the cause,” the officer added.
