Principal's son booked for beating up students in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Three students approached Shamirpet police, alleging that their school principal’s son and a couple of teachers beat them.
Based on their complaint, a criminal case was registered against the principal’s son. The students, aged between 13 and 14 years, alleged that school principal’s son beat them when they expressed their desire to play at playground and asked for required sports facilities.
The principal’s son reportedly made the students kneel down besides beating the minors. The offence happened on multiple occasions. When the boys told their parents, they took their kids to the police station on Monday and lodged a complaint.
The boys also accused a couple of teachers of indulging in corporal punishment on the instructions of principal’s son. “We want the principal and their son to tender an apology,” the parents said. The boys showed the injuries to cops. Police said action would be taken against the persons after verifying the allegations.
