The Ministry of Railways has shared an update on the redevelopment of Nellore Railway Station, showcasing significant progress in the project. As of now, the physical progress stands 57%.

Key achievements in the redevelopment include the completion of framed structures in the east direction and the ongoing construction of overhead water tanks in both the east and west directions. Additionally, work is actively underway on subway extensions, plastering, and flooring, marking a substantial stride toward enhancing passenger facilities and overall station infrastructure.
