Phase-I of integrated schools to be complete by next yr, says CM

Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said the govt would complete phase-I of integrated schools by next academic year. He said integrated schools were being built on 20-25 acres in every assembly constituency and phase-II will be launched on Nov 14 (Children’s Day) in the presence of 15,000 students.
The CM met students from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule social welfare hostels, schools and colleges in Vyra and Madhira assembly constituencies.
“The govt is aiming to provide quality education and offer healthcare and employment opportunities to all. As many as 21,000 teachers have already been promoted, and 11,062 teacher posts filled recently. All of you should participate in nation building,” the CM told the students.
Pointing out how drug addiction destroys lives, he appealed to the students to call on Dial-100 if they come across any information about ganja and drug trafficking.
“Those who possess skills along with academic qualifications will get jobs easily. That’s why the govt has set up Young India Skills University to provide skill training to students and unemployed,” he said.
ITIs are being converted into Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) in collaboration with Tata Technologies Limited, he said.
He also urged students to take up sports and said the govt was planning to start a sports university.
