Hyderabad: The Collaborative Artificial Intelligence Research Labs Foundation (CAIRL) was launched today in Hyderabad at the T-Hub with gathered industry leaders, academic experts, and government representatives to address India’s AI landscape, with a vision to foster responsible AI development through collaborative efforts between academia, industry, and government.
The event commenced with an introductory speech by Ramamohan Manamasa, Entrepreneur and Managing Director of Colaberry Private Limited, highlighting CAIRL’s mission to advance AI research and applications that benefit society.
Ram Katamaraja, Founder and CEO of Colaberry Inc., USA, delivered a keynote on the Global AI Research Landscape and the crucial role of the CAIRL in shaping AI’s future in India.
A key component of the event was the panel discussion, AI 2030: Envisioning the Future of Artificial Intelligence in Industry and Society, moderated by Dr. Suraj Bansali, Director of Clinical Development at Elanco.
The panellists included Neil Gogte, IT Guru and Chairman of KMIT & NGIT Engineering Colleges, Dr. P. Ratnakar, Secretary General of FABA, President of Life Sciences at Innominds, Dr. Bindu Nishal, Vice President, Agri Innovations & One Health at the Sustainability Innovation Centre (SINC), IKP Knowledge Park.
