Protecting the content till the film’s release has turned out to be the biggest challenge for the producers. Leaks are quite common for any film. The look of Prabhas from Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa was leaked online and it is widely circulated on social media circles. The makers also traced the culprit recently. Dasara director Srikanth Odela posted an emotional tweet on his Twitter page as the direction department and the writers are always blamed for the leaks.
“To whomever it may concern, it is better if we stop blaming ASSISTANT DIRECTORS or WRITERS for any leak in anyone’s film, not just my film. These people are the future creators and their selfless contribution to cinema deserves utmost RESPECT! Change the habit of blaming it on actual hard-working film departments and learn to admit your greediness. I know the bastards who leaked my title and THEY ARE NOT FROM MY TEAM” posted Srikanth Odela on his page.
