Hyderabad: GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and leader in digital engineering has announced the opening of a new delivery centre in Hyderabad as part of its APAC growth strategy. This Hyderabad facility marks the company’s fourth centre launch in nine months, boosting its core engineering capabilities to deliver digital solutions across industries such as technology, healthcare, automotive, banking, and professional services while continuing its focus on content engineering.
Hyderabad has become essential to GlobalLogic’s footprint in India, supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy. The company has forged partnerships with Indian technology universities and colleges through its industry-academia program, aiming to train students in GenAI and prepare them for the digital workforce.
With continuous government support, Hyderabad has established itself as a prime destination for Global Capability Centres in India, aligning with GlobalLogic’s commitment to providing digital solutions across sectors and positioning Hyderabad as a central player in its mission.
The inauguration of the state-of-the-art office was attended by Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Industry & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs. Speaking at the event, Minister Sridhar Babu said: “The inauguration of GlobalLogic’s new delivery centre marks a significant milestone in Telangana’s journey to become a global leader in digital innovation and transformation.”
Sridhar Babu further stated: “With over 220 GCCs, a world-class digital infrastructure, and a talent pipeline that adds 2.5 lakh graduates annually—including 1.5 lakh engineers—Telangana is shaping the future for forward-thinking enterprises worldwide. This new facility will drive job creation and cultivate cutting-edge talent, reinforcing our state’s leadership in high-impact sectors. It will solidify Telangana’s position at the forefront of global growth and innovation, paving the way for a future where our state leads the next generation of digital advancements.”
Starting with a team of 600 engineers and aiming to expand to over 2,000 in three years, GlobalLogic’s Hyderabad centre underscores the company’s trust in Telangana’s ecosystem and the government’s robust support for innovation. In addition, the company plans to leverage Hyderabad’s rich engineering talent pool, emphasizing new hires to support growing operations. Following GlobalLogic’s acquisition of Mobiveil, a significant portion of Mobiveil employees will also operate from the 38,000 sq. ft. centre.
