The CM of AP Chandrababu Naidu was very articulate with his speech in the assembly today as he took YCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy to the cleaners. CM Babu exposed the disproportionate loans that were taken by the YCP government in the YS Jagan tenure.
Addressing a key debate on the extent of loans taken by Jagan Mohan Reddy that absolutely ruined the fiscal condition of AP, Chandrababu said this amount adds up to a whopping Rs 9.75 lakh crore.
Babu said Jagan had taken Rs 9.75 lakh crore during his time as the CM. Of the mentioned figure, the government debt itself is Rs 4.38 lakh crore. The Public Account Liabilities add another Rs 81,000 crore. Corporation debts are at a whopping Rs 2.48 lakh crore while outstanding dues to vendors add another Rs 1.13 lakh crore.
If we add the civil supplies dues, power sector dues, and employee dues, the tally shoots to a whopping Rs 9.75 lakh crore.
CM Babu then threw a fierce challenge as he said “What I have presented today are hard facts. If anyone wishes to debate these numbers, then come to the assembly, I will explain.” This widely exposes the loan-heavy route taken by ex CM Jagan at the expense of the state’s exchequer.
