Hyderabad: Asking the govt not to spare anyone involved in the attack on Vikarabad collector Prateek Jail and others, the Joint Action Committees (JAC) of govt employees held protests at all collectorates in the state. The JAC demanded that the govt hold an inquiry into the incident.
JAC chairman V Lachi Reddy, along with other leaders, held a dharna at the Hyderabad district collectorate and submitted a memorandum to collector Anudeep Durisetty on Thursday. He said there was a conspiracy to demoralise govt officers.
The Telangana Govt Employees, Gazetted Officers, Teachers, Pensioners, and Outsourcing Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) led by JAC chairman Maram Jagadishwar and secretary general Sreenivas Rao participated in the protests. Employees wore black badges in the collectorates.
