Hyderabad: Two persons died after the motorcycle they were riding, went out of control and crashed into a road median in Gachibowli in the early hours of Friday.
The victims, Dev Kumar (30) and his friend Venkanna Swamy (28), both natives of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, were proceeding on Dev Kumar’s bike from Madhapur towards Gachibowli junction when the mishap occurred.
Police said when they reached Gachibowli main road, Dev Kumar lost control of the vehicle and hit the road median. Both suffered grievous bleeding injuries.
While Dev Kumar died on the spot, Venkanna Swamy was declared dead by the doctors at a private hospital. Gachibowli police are investigating. The bodies were shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
