As we exclusively hintedthe ongoing financial discrepancy dispute between Kalki 2898 AD producer Vyjayanthi Movies and North America distributor Prathyangira Cinemas has now reached the film chamber.
In short, the dispute revolves around discrepancies in reported numbers and heavy losses claimed by the U.S. distributor, Prathyangira Cinemas, from the Europe region to the production house Vyjayanthi.

While more details may emerge if the issue isn’t settled amicably, it has now reached the film chamber.
Vyjayanthi Movies has requested the chamber to halt the release of Pushpa 2 in North America, as it is being released by the same distributor they are in conflict with.

As we reported earlierYork Cinema Group from Canada also raised a dispute regarding financial issues with the same distributor, Prathyangira, concerning the funds they borrowed. Pushpa’s Canada release may also be in danger.
