Nizamabad: A 55-year-old beedi agent died allegedly after his motorcycle was hit by a truck near Mallaramgandi area of Nizamabad Rural mandal on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Anam Gopal of Banswada.
According to reports, Gopal was carrying a beedi load on his two wheeler and as he reached Mallaramgandi a speeding lorry in an effort to overtake the bike rammed it from behind. He died on the spot. Locals informed the police, who shifted the body to government hospital for the postmortem. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
